Mary Asha is a freelance illustrator from Queens, New York and is now permanently based in Connecticut. 

Her work as an artist has expanded to include elements of set & prop styling. Her skill set includes both crafting designs for corporate campaigns and creating focused still life arrangements for an idea. What sets Mary’s work apart is her discerning eye and deep care for detail. It shines through in all projects, whether it’s a drawing or a set. Regardless of the project’s nature, she is able to bring any brief to life with unique flair.

Mary obtained her BFA in Illustration from the University of New Haven. As an undergrad, she started her career drawing spot illustrations for corporate clients including Fredrick Fekkai and Nest New York. Afterwards, Mary very briefly styled for Urban Outfitters and later worked as in-house stylist for a local bookstore brand. Experience in two different sides of the creative industry enables her to work across both art and styling fields in the Tri State area. She is comfortable sourcing props and styling still life sets just as she is comfortable drafting vivid illustrations for clients. Today, Mary can be found in her home studio with artist-quality pens and undoubtedly crafting her next idea.
